Student Speaker

I am a second-year pre-pharmacy student at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, and I am in the incoming Pharm.D. Class of 2021 at UMKC’s School of Pharmacy. My interests stretch far and wide and my passions are boundless. During my two years at UMKC, I’ve been a member of the Biological Sciences Student Government, the Muslim Students Association, UMKC’s undergraduate research journal Lucerna, and UMKC’s Honors College. I’ve hosted non-profit literacy projects to raise funds for UNICEF’s Syrian Children Relief Fund as well as spent the last three summers volunteering at a transitional housing program for the homeless. Between non-profit endeavors and maintaining full-time student status, I work as a Pharmacy Technician with over two years of volunteer and work experience in clinical and retail pharmacy.
